While We're Still Here
Discussing dying and death isn't typically a preferred topic. The thought of bringing it up can feel overwhelming. How do we share with those in our inner circle? The more we acknowledge that 100% of us will die, the more likely we are to share our thoughts about end of life choices. We would share our wishes, fears, and concerns about end of life by starting the conversation with our people. We can work at leaving nothing unsaid with those we love. We can empower others to do the same.
Let's discuss how to live for today knowing that we all will die.
While We're Still Here
Let's Talk - The Conversation Project
Want a method to help you lean into conversations about dying and death? One way is to use the resources found through The Conversation Project. theconversationproject.org offers a guide to start thinking about your own end of life wishes and offers a starter kit to prepare yourself to begin the conversation. Use it for yourself. Give it to someone you love. We will go through the Starter Guide together in this episode so you get a taste without my giving you all of the meat. That, you ought to dig into on your own, when you're feeling ready.
